Bahariya Oasis (Arabic: الواحات البحرية, romanized: El-Wāḥāt El-Baḥrīya, meaning "the Northern Oases") is a natural depression rich in resources, located in Egypt’s Western Desert, about 370 km southwest of Cairo.

The oasis forms an oval-shaped valley that stretches from northeast to southwest, measuring approximately 94 km in length and up to 42 km in width, covering an area of around 2,000 km². It is surrounded by mountains and contains numerous natural springs.
