Morning – Pick-up from your hotel in Luxor

Your private Egyptologist guide will pick you up from your hotel to begin your journey through the ancient necropolis of Thebes. 

Stop 1: Valley of the Kings

Enter the legendary Valley of the Kings, the burial site of Egypt’s New Kingdom rulers. Explore three royal tombs adorned with vivid hieroglyphs and colorful wall reliefs — each narrating the journey of the pharaohs to the afterlife.

Stop 2: Temple of Queen Hatshepsut (Deir el-Bahari)

Admire one of Egypt’s architectural masterpieces, the Temple of Hatshepsut, dedicated to Egypt’s most powerful female pharaoh. Learn about her fascinating reign and the temple’s unique design against the backdrop of desert cliffs. 

Stop 3: Colossi of Memnon

Stand before the two colossal statues of Amenhotep III, which have guarded the Theban necropolis for over 3,000 years. 

Stop 4: Valley of the Queens (optional)

If time permits, visit the Valley of the Queens, home to the stunning Tomb of Queen Nefertari, one of the most beautifully decorated tombs in Egypt. 

Afternoon – Lunch & Return

Enjoy lunch at a local Egyptian restaurant before being transferred back to your hotel in Luxor with unforgettable memories of the ancient world.
